MedAxxis

Assist in deployment for a HIPAA BizTalk EDI installation to clear insurance claims and process billing.

    • Performed analysis, capacity planning, performance tuning, and defect resolution for MedAxxis (C#, .NET 2.0, ADO.NET, SQL Server).
    • Built a HIPAA EDI framework with BizTalk EDI and XSLT, mapping MedAxxis XML to the 837 schema via the BizTalk HIPAA Accelerator.
    • Created a BizTalk orchestration translating ICD-9 and incident data into pricing/invoice data and HL7 records via the BizTalk HL7 Accelerator.
    • Built BizTalk HL7 Accelerator event handlers responding to patient events.
    • Load-tested the BizTalk orchestration to measure transaction throughput.
    • Enhanced the MedAxxis Smart Client claims-entry app (C#, .NET 2.0, WinForms), submitting electronic claims via a web service in an n-tier SOA environment.
    • Enhanced the MedAxxis reporting site in C# (ASP.NET 2.0, Atlas AJAX, ADO.NET, SQL Server) with JavaScript/jQuery CSS management.
