Create a real-time Windows desktop interface and platform for online trading and accounting

    • Gathered requirements via customer interviews, authored the statement of work, and advised on hardware procurement.
    • Architected a custom trading and accounting system using UML and Rational Rose.
    • Built a multithreaded C++ (MFC) data-acquisition program against the REDI Trade COM interface, persisting trading data to a SQL Server/T-SQL data warehouse.
    • Developed a C# (.NET) trading program executing trades via the REDI Trade COM interface, with VBA/ADO.NET spreadsheet integration.
    • Built an event-driven C++ (ADO) utility to import financial trade data into SQL Server/T-SQL.
    • Implemented an XML service to submit automated trades over the FIX protocol.
    • Built OLAP cubes from trading and pricing data for analysis.
    • Built a C# (.NET, T-SQL, ADO) reconciliation utility validating real-time trade data against Goldman Sachs trade summaries.
    • Created auto-updating VBA/ADO spreadsheets presenting summary trading data.
    • Provided production support for the trading system through customer acceptance and handoff to staff.
