Rearchitect / Enhance a bulk shipping management system

    • Assessed the existing software and identified areas for improvement.
    • Assessed the current Azure environment and artifacts.
    • Aligned project priorities and goals with the client.
    • Met with executives to examine merger-and-acquisition plans.
    • Migrated the CI/CD pipeline from AppVeyor to Azure DevOps and built PowerShell deployment scripts.
    • Used Azure Bicep scripts ( PAAS ) to deploy packages to production
    • Evaluated services for refactoring from .NET Framework to .NET Core and deploy services using Docker and AKS (Kubernetes)
    • Planned enhancements to the C# shipping software (ASP.NET, Web API, Service Bus, Entity Framework, SQL Server).
    • Built an X12 EDI tracking and invoicing service in C# (Azure Logic Apps, NServiceBus, Entity Framework, Azure SQL) on Azure App Service.
    • Built new SOAP microservices for shipping creation in C# (.NET, SQL Server, Dapper).
    • Analyzed SQL Server to find and resolve performance bottlenecks.
    • Built an X12 EDI-214 invoicing service in C# (NServiceBus, Entity Framework, Azure SQL).
    • Migrated production and staging databases from SQL Server to Azure SQL.
    • Created a migration plan moving the environment from Azure VM to Azure App Service, Azure SQL, and Azure Active Directory.
    • Built Azure Logic Apps workflows to process EDI data from shippers.
    • Supported business partners integrating with the shipping platforms and Web API REST services.
    • Built new administration pages in C# (ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, HTML5, Telerik, Angular).
    • As Architect, aligned goals with executive management and laid out a new architectural roadmap.
    • Designed and built automated administrative utilities for site and system maintenance in C# (.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server) in a TDD/BDD environment.
