Create Custom Microsoft Windows Images for new PCs

    • Performed a gap analysis of the existing software, identifying areas for improvement, refactoring, and rewrite.
    • Rewrote the Customer Specifications website in C# (ASP.NET MVC, .NET 4.0, EF, LINQ, JavaScript/jQuery) on SQL Server 2012 in an Agile environment.
    • Maintained and extended the WPF (MVVM) application supporting the customer-spec system in C# (.NET 4.0, LINQ, Entity Framework).
    • Built a customer-facing website in C# (.NET 4.5, ASP.NET MVC) with Bootstrap, jQuery AJAX, and AngularJS, collecting input and managing image creation via web services.
    • Performed capacity planning for CPU and data-storage requirements.
    • Authored PowerShell scripts for continuous deployment and QA (DevOps).
    • Evaluated and enhanced SQL Server stored procedures and SSIS for data migration.
    • Managed a deployment project building and provisioning servers and VMs in a Hyper-V environment.
    • Performance-tuned the application, replacing less-efficient Entity Framework paths with ADO.NET.
    • Built scalable multithreaded WCF XML/JSON REST web services for the application in an SOA environment.
    • Built C# (.NET 4.5) Web API REST services communicating status to Java-based manufacturing systems.
    • Sped up existing code via multithreading in the service layers.
    • Mentored junior staff on new technologies and interviewed and evaluated candidates.
    • Diagnosed network latency and performance issues and recommended improvements.
    • Migrated application and database servers to Azure VM, Azure App Service, Azure SQL, and AWS EC2.
